  Asha  founded the Kalpadruma Collective in 2017 to explore authentic, vital, and exciting meeting points between Jazz, Contemporary Classical, Mediterranean, Arab, and Indian music traditions. The powerful, potent do-dectet force of saxophone, flute, bass clarinet, trumpet, string quartet and rhythm section is regularly complimented by appearances from high profile guest artists including oud player, Nikos Ziarkas, singer, Hamsa Mounif and flautist, Gareth Lockrane. The evening will be a fast-paced, cinematic journey of material from  Asha’s debut Album ‘Onwards’ plus new works centred around ideals of possession; reflected in Asha’s brand-new compositions plus arrangements of Jobim, Morricone, and Turkish bağlama music.
